getting vegan brunch with Kenneth and Edie.

seeing Edie and her daddy getting along.

Edie seeing me and her daddy getting along.

binging on yarn.  brushed suri alpaca yarn in sweet baby ballerina colors for something for Edie, or something for me, or somebody else.  bright blue and black malabrigo for robot mittens.  sale yarn, in shiny soft ballerina pink, enough to make Edie something else bigger, a skirt maybe, or a shrug.

rehearsing for Jherek’s concert in the chapel on the fourth floor of the old old school building, with sunlight goldening to lavender through the stained glass windows.  watching the light distractedly with sunset on the walls.

good music.  real good.

being filmed and photographed playing music.  proof!  to myself!  that I!  make beautiful noise!  once in a while.

computer malfunction resolved so that we could all watch a short russian hedgehog in the fog film before the show started.

computer malfunction resolved so that the planned reverb could shiver off the edge of our sounds.

Jherek and his girlfriend cooked us soup!  and a salad with curried almonds and peppers and spinach and apples and curried mushroom slices and so many other good things.  seriously they cooked for 30 people.  on top of putting on a concert.

beautiful beautiful music.

beautiful day and beautiful starry night.

i’m tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiired.
